14/07/15 The number of trucks circulating in Italy dropped by 0.2% in 2014
In 2014, the Italian commercial truck fleet suffered a slight volume reduction (-0.2%). It therefore seems logical to conclude that the negative trend, which saw the Italian truck fleet shrink between 2011 and 2013, due to the economic crisis and to harsh competition from other EU countries, is not over yet.

In 2014 tire retreading helped divert 31,075 tons of old tires from landfills. Airp, the Italian Tyre Retreaders Association, thinks proper to publicly disclose this figure in view of World Environment Day coming up on June 5.
23/04/15 Costa Rican Government orders public state institutions to retread tires
On Tuesday, March 17, Costa Rica President Luis Guillermo Solís and the Minister of Health Fernando Llorca signed a decree ordering all public state institutions to retread – to a maximum of two times – the tires of all state cars.
